We ONLY build and install wooden stairs - so after more than 50 years we have built an enviable reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
We only use quality materials and timber – both native and exotic.

Standard Stairs
Our Standard Stair design is the best solution for an affordable, high quality and durable stair for the single home, or a multi-unit project.
Made to measure to meet your building's code requirements and design aesthetics, they will be the right fit for easy installation and ready for internal carpeting.
For our standard stair we use ex 250 x 40mm Radiata pine strings (dressing grade) that are sanded and ready to paint.
Our treads and risers are 21mm thick tri-board. All treads and risers are firmly wedged so they are strong and guaranteed not to squeak. We place a pine nosing on the front of each tread suitable for your choice of carpet finish.
Designer Stairs
If you have an idea for a set of stairs that is out of the ordinary, don't worry, we've seen all types, sizes, shapes etc over our long time in the business. Bring your sketch or plans to us and we'll work out how to build your dream staircase.
Exotic or native timbers – we know them all. We also know how to join them perfectly and finish them to a high standard in the finished staircase.
Exterior Stairs
For exterior access to a garden or any exterior space, we can build the perfect set of stairs that will match the design of your house or building and be long-lasting and safe to use.
Wooden materials that are suitable for sustained outdoor use will be recommended along with any non-slip surfacing, all the while being made to site measure so the fitting is fast and simple.
Any prerequisites such as landing foundations, etc will be discussed at the the design stage so there are no surprises.
